Overview

Our client, a vibrant brand communications agency is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Account Executive to join their talented team.

Account Executive Responsibilities:

  1.   Working with Account Managers on a range of projects, assisting with the design brief; writing proposals and schedules, collating research material, compiling budgetary information and sourcing third party supplier quotations.
  2.   Taking full responsibility for the delivery of own projects from taking the client brief, planning, scheduling, budgeting and managing the project to completion.
  3.  Contributing to weekly working in progress meetings and ensuring that the projects worked on are trafficked through the studio in accordance with the project schedule.
  4.  Liaising and negotiating with third party suppliers to achieve best price and quality and ensuring all new suppliers are updated on our database.
  5.   Maintaining the project management system with contact details, budgetary information, purchase orders, invoicing and monitoring out costs against project budgets.
  6.  Proofing and checking copy and visuals     Identifying and mitigating problems on projects, offering solutions or seeking them from others
  7.  Looking for opportunities to expand working relationships with our clients and communicating this within the business
  8.  Developing the agencies relationships with its clients by ensuring all work is delivered on programme and profitably
  9. Account Executive Skills Required:
  1. A team player who can work to good account management processes
  2. A can do attitude and flexible approach to projects 
  3. Understanding of traditional print design and a knowledge of different forms of digital communication
  4. Able to contribute to client presentations and proposals
  5. Interested in branding, design and communications and the value creativity adds to business
  6. Can demonstrate financial awareness in a commercial environment
  7. Ability to work in a team but equally to make decisions independently and find solutions quickly and effectively
  8. Can work under pressure confidently and to tight deadlines

Account Executive Experience Required:

  1. An Account Executive with at least 1- 2 years’ agency and/or client experience.
  2. Experience of the creative/production process and project management skills
