Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd is looking for an experienced Client Partner to work within a Direct Marketing organisation.

 

Purpose of role:

To lead a client service team and allocated client relationships, ensuring that you effectively develop your team’s potential and profitably develop the client relationships managed by your team

 

Key accountabilities

Accountable for….

People development: ensuring your team meets its potential; to share learning; to lead by example in the area of staff coaching.

Client relationships: ensuring that client relationships allocated to your team are developed profitably through excellent project delivery and the spotting and exploitation of new opportunities. To ensure that projects allocated to your team are profitably managed through excellent project delivery.

Resource management: optimising resource across your team and ensuring your team is working smart/ effectively

 

Responsible for….

People development: The motivation and development of a team of Client Service staff to solve client problems. Working closely with Head of Client Service and Head of People Development to ensure your team has the skills required to grow client relationships, and to ensure effective personal development pathways exist for all staff in your team.

Client relationships: The profitable development, the client relationships and client projects managed by your team, ensuring all clients receive continuity of service to a consistently high standard. Building relationships with key client contacts for the clients in your team. Preparing presentations & proposals that persuade clients to use new products & services.

Resource management: Efficiently balancing workload across your team.

 

Essential requirements

• Experience of working in a fast paced, marketing delivery environment

• Experience of managing and mentoring multiple client service teams

• Proven track record of encouraging growth and development of staff

• Proven track record of building client relationships and developing client opportunities

• Commercial acumen and experience of delivering client growth.

• Ability to lead a team and also collaborate with colleagues across the business at a senior level

• Knowledge of direct marketing and the role of data

 

Desirable requirements

• Experience of working with the non for profit sector

• Experience of multi channel communications

• Knowledge of production processes for direct mail

Travel required to other office location on a monthly basis
