Green Shoots Recruitment are helping a Creative Agency are looking for someone to join their account handling team to support an Account Director with an established client.  The role will include a mixture of office based work and off site client meetings, including going on-site for events and video productions where needed.  A ‘can do’ and positive attitude is a must for this role.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Client Liaison – Building and developing relationships with new and existing clients.  Effective communication through all stages in project life.  Negotiating with clients, concerning project details/budgets etc

• Brief taking – Accurately taking and understanding brief from client and reinterpreting requirements to brief internal departments

• Pitch Preparation – Preparing and presenting client proposals/pitch documentation

• Project Management – Supporting Account Director on delivery of larger projects.  Tasks including delegate logistics, coordinating all print items, assisting with delivery of content solutions (video, ppt, animations).  Completing all job paperwork to defined ISO9001 standards

• Project Responsibility – Project Management – responsibility for managing own projects including brief taking, budget control and reconciliation including working to agreed margin targets, briefing internal departments, inspiring creativity, quote preparation, client and supplier liaison

• On site – Being present onsite at all events.  To support AM on larger events and to be in sole charge of smaller events

• Briefing Internal departments – Briefing production on duties, briefing Video and Graphics

• Creative Content – Taking part in creative meetings as arranged by Account Manager.  Organising and facilitating meetings for own projects.  Sourcing and briefing external producers/freelance/internal support for assistance in pulling together creative for event/video projects, general project assistance

• Financial – Quote preparation, budget control and reconciliation.  Full financial management of smaller projects.  Meeting targets

• New Business – attending new business meetings where appropriate with new business team

• Business Development – Producing Business Development plans for each client.  Reporting on plans at Account Management meetings and keeping specific client directors up to speed on their clients

• CRM – Responsible for keeping CRM up to date with client contracts.  Updating notes and ensuring suppliers are graded

 

Person Specification

 

• At least 3 to 4 years event production experience ideally in an agency environment working across a number of different clients and industries

• Experience of internal comms would be useful but not essential

• Experience in video/digital production would be desirable

• Outstanding interpersonal skills – ability to present and communicate to varying levels of seniority

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure to deadlines whilst delivering  a number of events on time and on budget

• Ambitious, enthusiastic and highly motivated

• Flexibility is an essential, travel is likely to be a large part of the role as we work nationally and internationally

• Clean driving license
