Overview

Our client, a luxury travel agency is looking to recruit a field sales executive to join their team. The successful candidate will already have experience in the sales field. The role covers the Benelux region (Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany etc) so you will need to be based in one of these countries. You will be travelling around these areas visiting travel agents in the regions. 

Field Sales Executive duties will include

  1. ·Implement a pro-active series of training programmes to enthuse agents 
  2. ·Ensure promotions and any other activity agreed by sales managers are implemented and followed through in timely manner 
  3. ·Identify potential new agents/partners 
  4. ·Deal with day-to-day queries; manage stock requirements for collateral and point of sales items 
  5. ·Feedback on competitor activity in the field: promotions, pricing, incentives.
  6. ·Report to sales managers in given territories 

 

Field Sales Executive experience and skills required: 

  1. ·Exposure to field sales preferably in a luxury environment, ideally in travel, for a minimum of 2-3 years.
  2. ·Experience in training/merchandising and working face-to-face in a retail environment.
  3. ·Knowledge of B2B marketing/selling; ideally combined with experience in B2C selling
  4. ·It is desirable to have marketing experience and knowledge of HTML.
  5. ·Enthusiastic, highly driven, and demonstrable people skills.
  6. ·Fluent Dutch and German essential; French desirable
