Overview

This is a fresh opportunity for a Lead/ Principal level UX Consultant in the Shoreditch area of London.

Coming from a UX Research/ Usability/  HCI  background, you will have additional skills in UX/UI Design (site maps, wireframes, concepts,  hi and lo fi prototyping, and so on).  It’s very important that you have strong IA Information Architecture skills – particularly within mobile. You could be described as a UX all rounder to the point of being able to provide consultancy within an agency environment at a senior level.

On top of hands-on skills you will also be experienced in the sales side of things – assisting with pitches and proposals,

Finally, you will be someone with the ability and proven experience of leading a team or managing other designers.

The reason why? This is a brand new job opening for a Lead/ Principal level Consultant to go into this agency and assist the current Operations Manager with growing a new team over the course of 2014. The initial role will involve liasing with clients and creating fantastic UX solutions for their needs, with the view to bringing in an additional 3-4 designers within the next twelve months and managing them.
