We’re looking for a motivated intern to join us for a 3 month position (3d/w) in the lead-up to the launch of our Photography Award and upcoming publications.

[arthur-frank] is a young publishing house with a focus on quality publications and non-commercial projects with high artistic value. Our most celebrated publication is a 4 volume series on contemporary photography called ‘If You Leave’.

Help is needed on our various current projects. ‘If You Leave’ is an ongoing online venture that requires daily updates, alongside the continued upkeep of book sales. Further, after 4 years of developing this publication, we are now expanding with a Photography Award in conjunction with a rotating exhibition around London as well as a quarterly publication on featured photographers.

Skills and qualifications:

– We’re looking for a highly motivated and innovative individual.
– You possess excellent knowledge of social media and digital journalism.
– Knowledge of design and programming software is a must.
– You are proficient in researching and an interest in market strategy is a plus.

Tasks:

Your responsibilities will include assisting with all arrangements for our publications and co-ordinating the launch of the Photography Award. You will be updating and maintaining website, blogs, online-store and all social media platforms.

We expect that you have an avid interest in both art and publishing related content.

[arthur-frank] is a young publishing house with a focus on quality publications and non-commercial projects with high artistic value. First Editions focuses on publishing screen-to-print projects. Our first project began four years ago and was a limited publication of a photography blog called if you leave which was successfully distributed in exclusive bookstores across London, Paris and New York.  By now, if you leave  has a following of 400K on tumblr and is sold in more than 40 independent bookstores across the globe. On November 13th, 2013 the publication of a fourth and final volume was announced.Our goal is to see our screen-to-print design continue to be used as a viable and flourishing form of publishing.
