Our client, a leading PR agency is looking for a PR Account Manager to join their talented consumer team, working predominantly across the agency’s establishedclients. working on established and prestigious clients.

 

The right candidate will be able to hit the ground running, and easily fit into the managerial role, so someone with a solid agency and SAE / AM background, and previous experience of working on established consumer clients is key.  We look after some of our client’s digital comms as well, so social media skills are also key.

 

Role and responsibilities: PR Account Manager

 

  1. Providing creative input on the development of PR strategies.
  2. Exceptional written and verbal communications.
  3. Developing and managing PR and social media plans.
  4. Managing existing relationships with clients, editors/journalists, industry and client stakeholders.
  5. Maintaining clear and confident communications with journalists, clients, suppliers and colleagues.
  6. Managing expectations and strengthening the relationship between the agency and its clients
  7. Proactively develop new business opportunities with clients and seek opportunities 

 

Skills and experience: PR Account Manager

 

  1. The right candidate will be an accomplished PR professional with B2C agency experience
  2. Confident and comfortable working proactively with journalists across all platforms from nationals and broadcast through to consumers and onlines.  
  3. Coverage delivery is key to the role so a bulging black book of media contacts is also desirable.  
  4. You will also have strong client handling and team management skills as well as excellent writing skills.  
  5. Social media skills are also key.
