Responsibilities

As the team leader, the role will require you to have the ability to work through, and oversee, the output of a group of six people with diverse skills sets. This will involve ensuring ever-higher standards of creative ideas, coupled with a careful and focused attention to detail. This is a demanding role, so you will need to be capable of rising to the challenge of delivering and controlling a large workload. You will be responsible for creating an open and inclusive atmosphere that recognises the abilities, talents and skills of everyone involved. This fair, all-encompassing environment however must be balanced with the flair of being able to maintaining standards and minimising mistakes. You will of course have your own projects to manage and you’ll need to work closely with account management to ensure we are on track with delivery of your own work, as well as that of your team. You will be called upon to contribute on everything from DVD covers, POS, advertising, web banners and design, packaging and catalogue pages. 

 

Skills required

Must be able to demonstrate your creative management capabilities, and come equipped with an eagerness to make the next big step in their career. You will also work closely with the digital and 3D teams, so you will need to display a strong working knowledge of both areas. Innovation is key to this exciting, experimental agency and evidence of how you have created innovative campaigns of your own in the past for other clients will be looked for. You must be open and engaging in your manner, have previous experience with kids and entertainment, (due to the fact that this team manages a diverse set of kids and entertainment accounts) the desire and ability to come up with original ideas to help develop specific campaigns and the confidence to execute these plans. Strong digital experience is key, along with experience in traditional media such as POS, advertising and catalogues, client-facing experience with ability to sell ideas and also must be proficient in the current Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator.
