Green Shoots Recruitment are looking for a Senior Designer to become a key member of a Creative Department, you will be a lead in the design work produced within their graphic design studio. Working with their video, motion graphics, production and account management teams to deliver inspiring and creative solutions to our clients communication needs.

Key Responsibilities

Produce inspiring design work. You’ll be involved in a range of design work including branding and identity, print, display and set graphics, web design and working with our motion graphics producer and in-house editors. Be a lead member of the graphic design studio. Responsible for the delivery of creative work from concept / idea generation to final art and production delivery. Drive forward the level of creative work produced by the agency. Encourage a close working relationship between the Creative Department and Account Management / Production. Ability to brief printers and external suppliers. The company Processes and Procedures. Proactive to offering process and work delivery solutions. Diary and time management. Managing internal and external resources – including supporting the Studio Manager in work scheduling and briefing freelance designers, suppliers. Person Specification This role is not right for a Designer looking for a quiet life. We are looking for someone who not only is a great designer, but also wants the responsibility to be a lead in their ambitious and growing Creative Department. We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience: At least 5 years’ experience in a design studio environment, ideally with some experience in a Senior role. They are looking for someone with a really strong portfolio. We are particularly looking for portfolios that demonstrate a flair for concept / idea generation. Experience in the Events industry isn’t a requirement, however your portfolio must demonstrate transferable design skills. Experience of working with a range of clients, including corporate and consumer brands A real team player. You’ll be working closely with not only the Graphic Design team, but also the rest of the Creative Department and Account Management / Production. Ambitious, enthusiastic and highly motivated. Flexibility is key. You’ll need to have the ability to juggle multi projects, including liaising directly with printers and suppliers. A real passion for design. You’ll be part of a team briefed to ensure design and creativity is at the forefront of the the culture. Confident in presenting design concepts and work. Involvement in project brainstorms will be key, including presenting work to clients and discussing client feedback. You may also be required to travel to events depending on the client. This could mean working away from home on occasion in the UK, Europe and other international destinations. Due to their rural location your own transport is essential
